Canadian guitarist Andrew Mah is a unique and exciting musician, widely regarded for his virtuosity, versatility, and heartfelt musicality.
Born in Ottawa into a family of guitarists, he has performed professionally on classical guitar for more than 20 years, carving out a uniquely eclectic international career as a solo concert artist, chamber musician, teacher, arranger, producer, and adjudicator.
Having concertized throughout Canada, the US, and Europe, he was the first North American ever to tour in the Republic of Cape Verde.
Adjunct to his performing career, he is an active guitar instructor and a President of the Ottawa Guitar Society. He is often sought out for his expertise in the arrangement and notation of music from other cultures and styles into readable scores for classical musicians.
This year will see him embarking on a long term project to record J.S Bach's entire catalog of solo music for lute, violin, and cello.

Anna Baksheeva, Russian born violinist has been sharing the joy of music with Ottawa, Canada Community since 2010.
Started playing violin at age of 5, Anna received her formal music education in Russia (Vladivostok special music school, St-Petersburg Music College under Conservatory). She came to North America in 2005 and completed her BA degree in Violin Performance at University of Georgia with Russian-Armenian violin professor Levon Ambartsumian.
Since moving to Ottawa in 2010, Ms. Baksheeva has been teaching students of all levels and ages. In 2016 together with a team with talented fine art teachers, Ms.Baksheeva started her Ottawa Fine Arts Academy www.ottawafinearts.ca where children and adults can learn music, visual art, dance and theatre.
Ms. Baksheeva has been a very active chamber and solo musician of many styles of music in Atlanta Georgia and in greater Ottawa, Ontario area. She is playing over 100 concerts a year and working with many Ottawa professional musicians like guitarists Andrey Krylov, Andrew Mah, pianists Ioulia Blinova, Wayne Irschick, Katherine Addleman, Flutist Keren Mugdus and others. Her most regular chamber group Duo Pleiades includes violin piano and violin and guitar performances.
In 2016 Ms. Baksheeva completed her Masters Degree of Violin Performance program at University of Ottawa and with internationally known violinist Yehonathan Berick.
Ms.Baksheeva is enjoying her community music sharing initiative as she performs at retirement homes, schools, community centres, day cares, shelters, hospitals, etc.
In 2017 Ms.Baksheeva has been working as violin and music appreciation instructor at Ottawa Montessori School.
